Nigeria: The last mendicant of the tribe

A rising majority of Nigerian nationals at home and in Diaspora have argued for the institution of true federalism via restructuring of a unitarian federal state imposed by a bandit army who ruled the country in the seventies through the eighties and nineties.

These rising voices are filled with such patriotism and love of motherland as unparalleled in the history of political struggles for freedom in Africa.

It is important that these Africans be acknowledged, and supported, as the real Third Force of the socio political equation. They understand the true history of political struggle in Nigeria which attended the amalgamation of the North and South by colonial parties who had brought divide and rule politics to that African region.

With paper and tabloid independence, the conquered structures were simply, by disingenuous British design, passed off to an oligarchy in the north that was backward, callous, dirty and insensate with treachery and political ostentation.

Ahmadu Bello, the ridiculous knight of the empire, the parochial leader of a conservative and backward north, personified the dirt, illiteracy and festering poverty of consciousness which Nigeria was to become under a deplorable region controlled by a heritage of Islamic philosophy with a primitive culture of child educational neglect, corporate barbarism and a trail of environmental squalor in its organic wake.

To have given such patriarchal personage commanding position in national affairs, which he promptly passed on to another kinsman in the person of Tafawa Balewa, marked the beginning of the depredation and, hence, the paternal devolution of the Nigerian project.

It became institutionalized in the socio political graphology of the Hausa Fulani manipulated northern feudalist conclave that only an imbecile stooge, never capable of independent or thoughtful universality toward national economic dynamics, must be goaded to preside over the Nigerian state.

The Nzeogwu revolution had aimed to arrest the drift of the nation from the hands of culpable tribal moron chiefs called founding fathers of a fledgling and directionless  neo colonial state.

Throughout the northern, western and eastern regions, the visionary potential of the true Nigerian icon known as Herbert Macaulay fazed with the springing of a copious array of tribal jingoists who suddenly emerged as sages, prophets, and sultans of post independent Nigeria.

Only the great Zik of Africa excelled the vision of Macaulay to bring about a truly egalitarian Nigerian and African liberated consciousness.

But that was not to be, as tribalism found vent in political cross carpeting and betrayals endemic among non visionary primordial instincts that dominated the political landscape of the sixties.

The era of military pillage which saw the enrichment of Gowon, Murtala, Obasanjo, Babangida, Abacha and Abdulkarim marked the further descent of a tottering nation into an Islamic dark age of history, a moment of intellectual retardation, vicious survivalism and official predation, methodically syndicated in the 1999 constitution to promote the fortunes of the armoured  mendicants of the tribe.

It bequeathed to the big for nothing West African nation a coven where religion, being the Christian and Islamic hegemons of mass brain washed ignorance, determined who controlled whatever apparatus that would contrive the seizure of state resources for control and redistribution by a certain group of the faithful within a mythical El Dorado of the oil dominant Nigerian economy.

We must understand the imbecility of Nigeria’s leaders in the contest of these historical struggles that have devolved at present into the killing and maiming and state sanctioned abductions that have become the worsening order under the present conundrum of the Muhammadu Buhari bandit clan.

Unbeknownst to the best instincts of voters who had clamored for change in 2015, they had become co conspirators in constituting another regime of federal sanctioned thieves of “All Progressives,” APC, and “Peoples Democracy,” PDP, in all federal, state, local government and legislative organs decreed into existence by a rogue constitution of 1999.

We must continue to expose their mendacity, their frivolity, their paucity of evolution, their endemic disease of ignorance and deceit, and all the actions and inactions that have led Nigerians to their present doldrums of marginal existence under an intellectual quisling from Nigeria’s core north in the person of Buhari.

Muslims, Christians, indigenous religious devotees must unite in order to extirpate this scourge foisted from corporate British economic adventurism on the soils of native peoples of sub saharan Africa.

Is it not a curious anomaly that the Nigerian 1979 and 1999 constitutions proved a marked departure from the Richard, Macpherson, and Littleton constitutions that preceded her independence from Britain?

Nigeria’s 1999 document was and still remains the most vicious document of fraud and conspiracy against the will of a people. It was drafted and imposed by thieves, crooks, and brigands of the armed forces inspired by such shallow fervor that could only have come from poorly educated warlocks under the politics of greed, redaction and the art of public dissembling.

Its fall out is the cronyism, the nepotism, typified these days in Muhammadu Buhari, and his deviant horde of parasites and sycophants.

All they purport for a nation building project is to ensure that the greater majority of indigenous people live in fear, poverty and eternally pious hallucinations, while a select deranged sect of Muslim and Christian defenders of the faith, along with their families, feed off the labours and vast resources of the land.

Their operative methodology is the issuance of an endemic cycle of intellectual mendicants and tribal simpletons who would become leaders of federal and state governments and legislature, in order to allow for the perpetuation of mass hysteria infected by their religions and spread by their ready fundamentalist adherents.

The roll call of so called presidents, state governors, and assembly members, as fostered by the 1979 and 1999 constitutions, attests to the medieval mindset of these para military serial fabricators.

Under such noxious documents have mendicants of the tribe, namely Shagari of Sokoto, Obasanjo of Ogun, Yaradua of Katsina, Jonathan of Bayelsa and, now, Buhari of Daura, filed their ghoulish statures through the poisonous corridors of state house, unleashing cluelessness, violence, depredation and untold stories of corruption, and ultimate desecration of the destiny of Nigerian men, women and children.

Each of these charlatans that ruled their bandit clans is at best an unfortunate accident of history, a symbolically mutated specie of human evolution, all rolled up with their pathological followers on a trail of pestilence and the discombobulation of continental and planetary motion in the social and economic freedom of humanity.

All through the long history of Nigeria as an enforced nation state, as opposed to a consensual federation, the common plank that has distinguished these medieval humans is their draconian resistance to any form of restructuring that promises to unleash the diverse creative potentials of their people for positive educational and scientific transformation.

The Nigerian unitarian constitution will never impact any positive legacy that will arouse the creative, or healing, instincts of the people for peaceful coexistence and collective group actualisation.

However the bigots of tribe and religion have resisted the calls by well meaning African nationals and compatriots to reform the polity along the lines of true federalism and peaceful coexistence among ethnicities who must enact their divine powers of creative expression, control their economic resources, and enforce the social contract of the security of life and property.

The question of how we upgrade the human resource development of Nigeria to world best practices, and the peaceful coexistence of ethnicities, in a clime of equal rights and justice, under a structurally balanced federation, is anathema to minds like Gowon, Obasanjo and Buhari.

Therefore to get it right in 2019 demands the ultimate sacrifice, the laying of all resources of mind and body in service to every act of subversion against these political charlatans whose only mission and peer group understanding is the continuation of the status quo in a long interminable play of sectional and personal advantages.

But give or take, Nigeria must be restructured.

Because sectional advantage is the only language the filthy constitution of Nigeria and its unconscionable promoters in Aso Rock can speak, this is the narrative that must be overturned with another resounding defeat of the darkness when the government of Muhammadu Buhari, the last mendicant of the tribe, is decisively voted out in 2019.
